Introductory events
Dear Master first-year’s!
Thank you for choosing the Master’s program with us in Stuttgart!
To prevent you from starting your new study program utterly disoriented, we created a few introductory events for you. You will get to know the university in general and the Environmental Engineering community (“Uschis”).
Friday, 11th Ocotber 2024, 11:30am
First the will be a welcome by the programme manager and advisor Mr. Dobslaw and students of our program in the lecture hall V7.04 (building 7) at Vaihingen Campus. Afterwards there will be a barbecue at the location called Vier Eichen. Whether you prefer tofu, cheese or grilled vegetables, the whole barbecue is a splendid opportunity to connect with other first year’s and older students. Food and drink are provided. Feel free to bring a reusable plate and tableware if you like.
Pub crawl, 11th November 2024, 7pm
We’ll be going on a pub crawl with you starting at 7:00 PM. The meeting point is the student council room. Anyone who wants to join later can come to the Palast der Republik at 8 PM.
The freshman week for the winter semester 2024/25 will take place from October 7th to October 13th, 2024. Some events primarily aimed at bachelor’s freshmen might also be of interest to you, especially if you’ve transferred from another university. For example, the campus tour on Tuesday would be recommended. You can find more information about it here.
Additional information is available on the stuvus website: ESE: FG Environmental Engineering/WAREM – stuvus (uni-stuttgart.de).
